Hi, I’m Fraser.
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, I now live with my wife and daughter in Port Macquarie, Australia.
Photography has been part of my life for a long time. From hobby to study with the New York Institute; from film point-and-shoot to DSLR and most recently to the skies with my drone.
My main focus is on the natural world, predominantly landscape and seascapes, but it’s not unusual to find me scrambling around searching for a different angle of a strange flower.
I’d describe myself as a bit of tech geek, and in 2016 I joined the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) revolution – ‘drone’ to the non-geeks. I’m now a registered CASA operator, and this represents the majority of my commercial work.
Wind, rain and a setting sun place some limitations on the drone work however, so I’ll be hanging on to my DSLR for some time to come.
All images I take are RAW, to allow me more scope for creativity in Photoshop and Lightroom, but my goal with post-processing is to aim for a natural image that the viewer would have seen had they been with me when I took it.
I’m just as happy working with clients to understand the vision of what they want, as I am helping you to understand what is possible, or creatively exciting.
In the meantime, please say hello on your preferred social network. You’ll find me on:
